Le Mont Saint-Michel - Stairs
Le Mont Saint-Michel is usually crawling with tourists. I recommend
staying the night in a hotel on the island. If you are a night
owl like me, you may have run of the place around midnight.
The Abbey is lit with huge lights, people can see it from miles
away. The lighting creates a strange glow on the rest of the island.
I love the dual sets of stairs in the shadows leading up to the
light.
