Most design is problem solving. Often the biggest
issue for a client is that they aren't sure what they want and
feel awkward coming to a designer without a specific idea in
mind. This is like my Mom tidying up before the housekeeper
comes over. If you knew exactly what you wanted and how to get
it you wouldn't need a designer at all.
Part of my job is to help you find your voice
and refine your vision. This means listening to you and your
goals - then creating a design to meet them.
Here's how it works: you contact
me and we talk a bit. Usually I meet my clients, but have
worked with many without a face to face meeting. After getting
an idea of what you want I create a few "sketches"
to further the design dialog. Often I'll create a development
page for you to view online or send you PDFs via email. Once
we establish a final design, I get to work on making it a reality.
Web sites can be created completely independently
or through your IT department. I can work with your print service
provider or handle the process through one of my trusted suppliers.
I love special events and creating everything from invitations
to the design of the party space.
It's all about you and your needs, not me and
my ego. Let's get together and talk.
